**The problem you're addressing (if any)**
I have a "TP-LINK Archer T4UH V2" US…B WLAN adapter ("AC1300-High-Gain-Dualband-USB-WLAN-Adapter"). There exists a working Linux driver for it, but most Linux distributions do not include it (The driver supplied by TP-LINK does not even compile in current kernels). What works in almost every Linux distribution is "USB tethering" using my Android mobile phone, however.
Qubes OS detects the USB WLAN device too, but I cannot use it for networking: It's not listed in the USB device list used to assign to a VM.
**Describe the solution you'd like**
I'd like to be able to use USB tethering, maybe by providing an alternate `sys-net` VM, but preferrably by using the virtual USB adapter in the standard `sys-net` VM.
**Where is the value to a user, and who might that user be?**
The user could use (wireless) networking when otherwise it would not work.
**Describe alternatives you've considered**
Buy a WLAN repeater with Ethernet cable connection, and connect computer with repeater.
