The stable version of the 4.3.1 doesn’t work with MSI (motherboards Z690 and Z790), but the test version 4.3.1.-rc1 worked good with MSI motherboards. Why?

4.3.1 stable works well for me on the Z690 (DDR5, proprietary UEFI).

I tested Z690 DDR4 and Z790 DDR5. Both don’t work. My video card is RX580.
But my motherboards work perfect with 4.2 and with the test version of 4.3.1. Just the stable versions of the 4.3 don’t work on my motherboards.

The firmware that came with the motherboard instead of Dasharo.

Nvidia RTX 30xx series. I use it as a graphics-offload device, not the main card. That means I have my BIOS/UEFI configured in IGD mode and I plug my monitors into slots on the motherboard and not on the GPU.
This still lets me use it for computations and games, though, thanks to PRIME offload.
I use dasharo
I have msi z790 with dasharo and it runs great (4.3 and 4.3.1). I use igpu on 12600k. Never tried discrete gpu
When you boot up Qubes you’ll want to hit escape to learn more about what is failing, via the output on the screen. I’ve got extensive experience with your board and bios - its working fine on 4.3.1 for me. Let’s see where you are failing, is it at the graphical environment starting? There is lots we can do to help troubleshoot this! Have a good one…
