Sys-gui based on fedora-40-xfce not launching applications in qubes (App/TemplateVMs)

I cannot get any programs to launch from qubes in sys-gui. I have installed all the packages from this salt formula:

I got errors that qubes core agents crashed, and from lines 331 and 214 in usr/lib/python3.12/site-packages/qubesadmin/tools/qvm_run.py when I tried to launch applications.

I am assuming that this is a trivial issue regarding something like this; probably an autostart or daemon issue. However, this is a little above my head, so I’d appreciate any troubleshooting help. Thanks in advance!

Fixed via manual reinstall—deleting sys-gui and template and redoing salt command.
