Since the laptop got both the Nvidia and the AMD for graphics, can (or have you?) tried to blacklist both?

modeset=0 nouveau.modeset=0 amdgpu.modeset=0 rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau,amdgpu

on the line starting:

module2 /vmlinuz-..

I’m about out of ideas … so now it’s just random “maybe it could be”-suggestions I can give … :frowning:

As an alternative, you could try the r4.3.1-rc1 and see if an updated kernel/driver can solve the problem?
