mgmt-salt-dom0-virtual-machines v4.2.17 (r4.2 & r4.3)
sys-net
default memory is increased from 400MB to 425MB. This small increase will fix bugs with network connectivity issues after suspend. This is only applicable for new installations. Users with existing installations who are experiencing Network connectivity issues after resuming from suspend should increasesys-net
memory manually. -

Mostly updater clean-up tasks and fixes. -
core-admin-linux v4.2.28 (r4.2)
qubes-dom0-update
will show clear and better messages on different actions. -
artwork v4.3.2-1 (r4.3)
Fixing wrong Qubes OS logo on plymouth disk decryption screen on boot for people with multiple screens.
I personally tried to work on the above bug but failed miserably. Marek fixed it himself in the end. -
core-qrexec v4.2.21 (r4.2)
Mostly old fixes from May and June which were tested on r4.3 and are now coming to r4.2 -
intel-microcode v2.1.20240910-58.qubes1 (r4.2 & r4.3)
Intel microcode update for Xeon Scalable, Xeon D security issues. Functionality fixes for Intel Core Ultra (Meteor Lake) as well as 13th Gen and 12th Gen Core processors plus Intel Processors / Intel Core i3 N-Series. Details here. -
desktop-linux-menu v1.2.1 (r4.2)
Improvements to the Appmenu from summer coming to r4.2. This includes:
Fix for sorting DispVMs
Qube settings icon is moved to bottom of the Applist
Improved keyboard navigation
Possibility to add qube setting and start icons to favourites
Epilogue
r4.2.3 does not need through testing and will be released very soon to certify some of new Novacustom laptops. Close cooperation of certified vendors such a providing hardware to the core team ensures proper functionality and excellent support of their hardware. If you are not re-purposing old hardware for new Qubes OS installation, looking at certified hardware is highly recommended. They are usually well specd and competitively priced compared to alternatives. They also do some sponsorship of the project. Overall it could be a win-win-win situation for you, Qubes OS project and certified vendor.
