Hi
i have changed the xfce4 panel and the QuBes menu / application menu disappeared.
There is a discussion about application menu on the forum:
but, i am trying to put back the default QuBes menu
i tried looking for an ‘item’ to be added, but nothing was found.
Moreover, there is no configuration for QuBes panels on:
Settings > Panels profile
PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD YOUR CONFIG - MY FAULT
THERE MAY BE PERSONAL INFO INCLUDED - SEE COMMENTS BELOW

thanks
You can get back your launcher back this way without downloading a file from an unknown source and load it to dom0 (please, don’t do that!):
- open the Panel preferences or run
xfce4-panel -p
- go to the Items tab
- click on Add and add a Launcher
- then go back to the Items tab, select the Launcher and click on Edit the currently selected item (an icon combining a document
with a wrench
)
- select Add one or more existing items to the launcher (
plus icon), then Open Qubes Application Menu and add it.
You’re done!
Extra step: backup your profile

Note that doing so might reveal personal informations, like the wifi hotspot name you are using!
sorry, my bad - i was expecting only the config of the panel.
- i will update the post if i can
thanks for the info
Thanks @parulin
I was looking for an icon ‘Q’
and, in fairness, launcher gives me the impression of a gui for a user’s specific command to be added into the gui/panel
Extra step: backup panel profile == done!
Cheers
