Pulling YUBIKEY triggers shutdown

Hi I am using a YUBIKEY as described in this link:

https://forum.qubes-os.org/t/luks-with-yubikey-2fa-chal-resp-on-qubes-4-2-0/23119

When I pull the YUBIKEY out it triggers a shutdown. Does anyone know what triggers that behaviour?
So to give a little more context. When I fire up the machine the key is read and triggers the decryption of my ssd. When the machine is up, I can see the YUBIKEY in my sys-usb. So it should be detached from dom0.

Make it a feature.
Bind the Yubikey to your hand, and if your switched on laptop gets stolen by friendly police or airport staff, it changes into safe state which is shut down

Indeed it could be a feature…nevertheless I´d like to know what trigger´ s it…I have the suspicion that it is triggered through using the usb-c ports which also are thunderbolt 4 configured…

Hello

Is this a proper shutdown, or is the computer powering off instantly?

I have seen a similar product - Buskill USB Kill Cord :+1:

So after some tinkering and using a usbc => usba adapter I was able to use it as intended - no shutdown, just unlocking and unplugging.
Apparently the Thunderbolt 4 on my usbc slot triggers that shutdown when I am unplugging…
