Did you install Qubes OS on a USB disk?
If not then you can leave the usbcore.authorized_default=0 and just add nomodeset at the end of the line.

Hey so I’m going thru the re set up progress, and when I’m doing the installation destination thing, it says “ INSTALLATION OPTIONS

Basically it says I have no space and I can’t reclaim any, but then when I go to the next page and click “Delete all” suddenly it works and everything is ok? I now have the option to reclaim 930 GIB worth of space. Is this normal?

Hey I’m currently at the “Templates Configuration” screen. Anything in particular I should click? I clicked “Enable system and template updates over the Tor anonymity network using Whonix”. Anything else?

Ok boss so I did all the things, when I clicked finish installation it’s just been stuck here for a bit. The last line says “[ OK ] Started accounts-daemon.service - Accounts Service.” It’s been stuck on that line for a while - what should I do boss?

Did you reinstall the Qubes OS with default option (not with kernel-latest)?
There was no point in reinstalling it then.
Did you try this?

Yeah I did reinstall with the non kernel option - and I didn’t have the option to do what you asked. I now have the option and I will do it now.

The graphics card is not really working properly yet because with nomodeset you’re not using the proper nouveau driver for it.
Try to install the kernel-latest in dom0 by running this command in dom0 terminal:

sudo qubes-dom0-update kernel-latest

It should install kernel 6.10 in dom0.
Then reboot the Qubes OS and try to boot Qubes OS without adding nomodeset option.
