HP ENVY x360 issues

Hi,

I just bought this laptop and installed Qubes. During the install every time I pressed on something it was very slow, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. But now that it’s up and running it’s still extremely slow. Even basic things like changing the volume (with no qubes open) has a significant lag.

Does anyone know of a possible fix for this? I really really appreciate it!

I have the X1 extreme gen 5 which is considered to be the “sibling” of the P5. I had the same problem and put trouble shooting steps in my HCL report. Check out the “Integrated GPU Screen Tearing” section. I would also check the display setting in the bios. There might be an option to increase the integrated gpu memory. Thanks for sharing! Although since I’m not really that tech savvy, if someone could explain it a bit better I’d really really appreciate it !

Also, the WiFi doesn’t work either, if someone knows how to fix it.
