The HCL says this laptop is certified however it is not on the official certification list
Remarks
- Wi-Fi stops working after waking from suspend. I have to restart sys-net to get it working again
- I’ve encountered this issue about the laptop freezing every so often. Initially I thought it was related to external displays as it seem to happen shortly after plugging in an external display but it ended up happening even when just using the laptop on its own. The workaround about
pkill xfwm4stated in the OP seems to work and the system continues working after that without problems. - I’ve found the laptop generally buggy, or at least more buggy than I would like to see with certified hardware. For instance this morning after plugging in an external display my cursor wasn’t able to click on anything in the application that I dragged onto it, instead it clicked on the primary display.
Aside from that everything works. I am hoping it works just as well after updating to R4.3
