Forum mails not working

Hi,

I use forum by email.

I notice that my last message (from yesterday) did not get posted and is still not posted.

Additionally, I stopped receiving mail for stuff I am subscribed to, although there are new posts e.g. in section Guides. (No, spam filters are not stopping it)

I wonder if this will get posted.

As far as I can see posts I have sent do not seem to have been posted to
the Forum. Also, I suspect that I am not receiving all the Forum posts.
qubist has reported the same in qubes-users.
Can someone please look at this as a matter of urgency?

What was the problem?

Something was definitely wrong with the forum since the last update. I was not getting notifications, I needed to reload the page to see new posts, and the little icons representing posters on the main page were missing a lot of users who had interacted with certain posts. I got all the previous notifications at the same time about 40 minutes ago.

Thank you all for bringing this to our attention. There is a 2 day gap in emails sent and received. It started working again about 2 hours ago.

I may follow up with the service providers to inquire about the situation. Apologies to the ones affected. If you had sent an email in this period and it got returned, please post again.

Update: the hosting provider confirmed the issue we saw a few days ago. However their mitigation was not working correctly and they expect (hopefully) that it is fixed now. They mention that in the meantime they are actively monitoring the situation.

(Note: I’ll check later if this email was sent to mailing list mode users)
