Hi,
I’ve just upgraded my 3 years old ntb to qubes 4.1.1 from 4.0.3. Everything went fine, no workarounds were necessary - downloaded fresh iso & dd → usb, booted to GUI and installed without problems.
The only problem was that after reboot there was no qubes in bootloader and system jumped to HW check. I enabled legacy boot mode in bios and reinstalled - same result. Then I turned off legacy mode and did the reinstall again, but now qubes booted from disk.
A bit strange, however it worked.
Then I restored my backup - all restored machines successfully started.
So far I see no complications - sound, graphics, second display over hdmi, wifi, usb-eth adapter, I see all devices in sys-usb. I’m quite impressed and praise qubes team for good job.
I found similar [qubes-users] HCL - Dell XPS 9570, but I did not find button to add this review there, so feel free to move it if necessary.
