One must disable VDM Mode in the firmware settings, otherwise the installer gets stuck on startup. Once installed, everything works like a charm, but I’ve went directly with kernel-latest and sys-usb. Tested onboard LAN, WiFi, HDMI&audio, speakers and it also works with an external thunderbolt dock for HDMI.
Here’s an initial report. I’ll update when/if I have time for more tests.
Installation
VDM Mode must be disabled in the firmware settings for the installer to work.

Keyboard led and keyboard brightness change shortcuts - doesn’t works, not even in a normal Linux, had to use windows to disable the keyboard backlight on boot
Output of xinput --list from terminal of dom0 - there’s not such such binary in dom0 or sys-usb, will update later
Check if keyboard and/or touchpad is PS/2 connected (how to check) - keyboard and touchpad work with sys-usb paused, but PS/2 is not used

Video file playback of file using mpv/mplayer/smplayer - 1080p? Higher resolutions and bitrates? - tested a 1080p video, looks fine
Multiple displays configuration works (using available DP/Thunderbolt, HDMI or other video ports - all configurations work. video playback tests were made with mirrored displays: the eDP plus an HDMI connected via Thunderbolt.
