I’d like to install Qubes OS in a VM to take screenshots of the install process, can I use kvm or vbox directly without tweaks?
Yes, but you are not going to be able to start sys-net, and you are probably going to get warnings about the CPU missing security features.
I believe most of the workarounds I described in my guide can be performed without being screenshoted. Although the “low resolution” part may cause some trouble…
Maybe experiment with different settings to try and see, if these can be mitigated too?
