The above error message was displayed about a week ago when I tried to log in. Can the forum admin please make transparent which IPs are prevented from logging in and why?
Sorry about that. My understanding is that IP banning is not intended, but the forum software makes it extremely easy to do so when suspending a user. All blocklists should be cleared now.
If anything IP-based blocking doesn’t do much because we have a rather technical audience and we also risk banning Tor IPs which have a lot of collateral damage.
