Xentop Color: colorize the output of Xentop to monitor your VMs

Hey everyone. I’m sharing another one of my scripts that I’ve written for Qubes.

This one is actually not Qubes, but xen-specific. It allows you to have xentop, but actually readable for once. This allows you to monitor your qube resource usage in real-time way more comfortably than with normal xentop.

Fully on board for a more readable xentop :slightly_smiling_face::+1: Thanks!

Couple minor script notes:

  • Comments mention set -r but it doesn’t appear to be run in the code nevermind, I found it!
  • \unset – I think just a stray (harmless) backslash?

Actually, the backslash is there on purpose , it ensures that unset is called as the actual unset utility and not anything that could override it, like an alias or function. All the “security” stuff is mostly things from my bash script template, which I wanted to publish someday.
