Windows successfully connected to internet without setting internet card

When installed Windows as standalone.
Later found that Windows after (maybe) 3th reset get to working Ethernet card.
So I grand him Whonix connection, and to my surprise, he was able to get connection without, setting Ethernet card, like I need to do in another Linux distro as my Stand Alone.
As example IP, Netmask, Gateway, DNS

Is Windows VM use Internet access from Sys-net differently then Linux VM ?
Is this always the way Windows connect without user input ?

Even though we do have a small DHCP server that runs inside the HVM’s untrusted stub domain to make the manual network configuration unnecessary for many qubes, this won’t work for most modern Linux distributions, which contain Xen networking PV drivers (but not Qubes tools), which bypass the stub-domain networking. (Their net frontends connect directly to the net backend in the net qube.) In this instance, our DHCP server is not useful.

That’s how DHCP works.

Thank you for clarification, I gonna give this article another chance, maybe I miss something.
Again, thank you.
