Windows in qube randomly crashing until qube restart

As in title, if I open a browser in some disposable for example, it randomly crashes but disp doesn’t shut down. Windows disappear and I can’t open any new windows like xfce terminal until I make new qube or restart existing one if it isn’t disposable. Pretty annoying as I can lose access to some important not saved things. I recently changed DPI in /etc/X11/Xresources in all templates so maybe that’s the issue? And it isn’t problem with browser only. It happens with terminal or some file manager too in other qubes that have no access to the internet at all.

How much RAM is assigned to them?
How much RAM are they utilising?
How many threads are available?

I have found that not having enough RAM will cause the display in it to crash, or just some applications to crash.

You can start a console and restart the internal Qube display application inside the guest, then restart the one in Dom0 for that Qube. That will then allow you to reload the applications and have things work properly.

If that fails, then you can ALT+F2, go to a shell, and restart the Dom0 Display manager.

So please, take a look at the settings for the qubes that often crash.

I have 512 MB of RAM for my FirewallVMs and NetVMs, and I turn off their display managers but keep them completely hidden, and thus I have them set so that I can SSH into them only.

if I ahve 1GB of RAM on any guest for Linux, if it does multiple things, or has too many browser tabs open, the display or the application can crash. And so I have to sometimes restart my Dom0 X11 to get things back.

So I do face it myself at times. But I know why it does it and can work around it so I don’t lose 7 hours of coding again.
