Windows 11 + Qubes OS 4.3 + QWT 4.2.2 progress and questions

Hi other Windows 11 qube users,

With my first attempts to get windows 11 working properly, I’m getting closer to the ultimate OS!

I’m sharing my personal progress using windows 11 qube and some questions that I have if anyone can share their own experiences and insigths that would be helpfull.

Setup

  • Windows 11 Pro Template + AppVM (per user)
  • Qubes 4.3
  • QWT 4.2.2-1

What is (almost) working

  • Installation of windows 11 pro with local admin
  • dGPU passthrough
  • Installation of QWT (Without GUI agent & some buggy drivers)
?? Xen paravirtual bus and interface drivers
    ?? Required files and services
    NO GUI agent experimental
OK Move users directory to the private image
50% Enable user autologon with randomized password
?? Xen paravirtusalised network driver (Seems installed but no difference)
    OK XEN paravirtual disk drivers
    OK Sound
OK Win template copy/paste from/to another qube (Not woking in AppvM)

What is not working…

  • Some XEN Drivers buggy (XENBUSS CONS, XENVIF 0) What are they?
  • Bluetooth (Probably need to install the drivers manually after passing the bluetooth adapter)
  • Seamless mode, Would love it, anyone knows if someone is working on this?
  • AppVM copy/paste from/to another qube (working in the template)
  • Login different AppVM with different users.

When I turn on the windows 11 template, I automatically log in as the admin as that I have set with

Blockquote qvm-prefs $templateName default_user $adminName

But then I have created an AppVM base on that template and when I set

Blockquote qvm-prefs $AppVMName default_user $userName

It does not work, I log in that AppVM with the $adminName anyway.

Is anyone able to login different account with different AppVM? Why you might want to ask? Because I want to keep my separate work and personal life separated just like with any other linux AppVM.

Anyone can copy/paste in/to a win11 AppVM?

Thanks!
