I’m running Qubes 4.2.4 on a ThinkPad x230 with Libreboot. I’m experiencing serious problems with my wifi connection: sometimes it drops after a certain amount of time; other times it’s impossible to connect from the beginning. When the failure occurs, sys-net stops detecting the wireless network, and restarting the qube doesn’t solve the problem: it’s necessary to completely restart the operating system. There are no problems, however, with the wired connection.
I’ve tried with other operating systems, and the wireless connection works correctly, so I rule out a hardware or Libreboot problem.
I’ve tried changing my sys-net template between Debian and Fedora, but the problem persists with both. I’ve also tried with different kernels, but (although perhaps the problem takes longer to appear with some than with others) none of them fix the error.

I guess that I have some kind of problem with the iwlwifi driver. I tried to update it in my templates, but I find that I already have the latest version installed. Should I look for a newer version than the one provided by the QubesOS repositories? If so, how to do that?

After a while when my Wi-Fi seemed to be working well, I have started to experience the same problems I mentioned at the beginning of this thread: my Wi-Fi starts working and, after a while, it stops, and my NetworkManager stops detecting networks on the wls7 interface (identified by NetworkManager as Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205).
The guest-sys-net.log records something at the moment the network fails, as can be seen here starting from minute 10:27:11:
