I can‘t see any Wifi options in my NetworkManager.
I can use Ethernet without any problems but Wifi connections are not possible.
I already added the Network controller in the Devices tab of sys-net.
I also tried swapping the wpa_supplicant with iwd but iwd does not exist/work for some reason.
Sys-net only works with debian, i can‘t get it to work with fedora.
My Qubes version is R4.2.1
I searched for hours but could not get it to work, I hope someone here can help me
Missing WiFi drivers or firmware in your template.
Try to use latest kernel version in your qube or download and copy to your template the firmware for your WiFi controller.
What’s not working?
Fedora template should have newer firmware and your WiFi firmware could be present there.
This used to happen to me all the time with sys-USB and sys-net. You need some good legacy templates. You can try “fixing” your Qubes install with an older version. There is a kernel/driver mismatch somewhere. There is no easy way to fix it but to get the correct template and kernel.
I don’t like to promote other OSes but if your hardware works with Parrot live ISO get a Parrot template or make your own using the github script. Broadcom drivers usually work for a wider range than realtek or b43.
