Whoonix for daily use?

Hi,
one thing has been puzzling me lately: since template:whoonix-workstation17 is actually fedora hardened by kick-secure,
then can I safely change the qubes templates “vault”, “personal” to template:whoonix-workstation and then use them as offline? Does this make sense?

  1. is it possible to convert whoonix-workstation to a qube using vpn rather than tor? I ask because I like the implemented security mechanisms in this template, and at the same time I would like to be able to use it in addition to tor as well.

I have searched for answers to the above questions in the search engine of this forum, in the whoonix forum, in the whoonix documentation and have not found any answers.

What do you guys think about this?

if it’s offline, you can use any kind of template without much difference with regard to security / privacy.

You can.

It’d be much easier to just convert debian to kicksecure:
