Whonix update issue

For the last fortnight or so, I am not able to update whonix templates. Rest templates and dom0 can be updated.
I use onion repositories.

Qubes 4.2.4 ?

4.3 fully updated with whonix 18.
Some repo fails to connect or download something like that

The (usually reliable) Whonix onion server has been down a good share of the past two weeks, so I’ve had the same update issues. I’ve noticed the Qubes and Debian onion repos have been down a bit over the same time period, an unusual correlation.

I have had the repo issue (non onion) but if i try a couple more times it resolves

Also try posting here. One of the devs will probably respond

Bumping this with the following update from adrelanos, since the problem persists and it’s the qubes onion which appears down atm.

Can confirm. Qubes onion has been down for hours now, I am unable to
update my templates:

Was down yesterday too (didn’t try the repository… but the website uses the same and was not working). If only someone would have invented monitoring… :upside_down_face:

I dont believe this to be true. There may be Tor network issues, but
that’s all.

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.
When I comment in the Forum I speak for myself.

I was able to connect just now, the first time since sometime yesterday.

Just now I was able to connect to the deb.qubes....onion and update my
templates. Get in while its still open.
