Is it possible to create a ProxyVM to Route Traffic through Socks5?
I want to do be able to use Whonix/Tor for anonymity but also I want to Route my connection through a Socks5 proxy so that I am able to appear in a specific location to site that I am Visiting. What I am trying to achieve is using a socks5 proxy in front of my TOR connection so I can retain my anonymity while having a clean IP that won’t trip certain sites alerts.
Whonix/Tor → Socks5 Proxy → Web
I’ve created an AppVM that provides network aka NetVM. I’ve connected sys-whonix for Networking so I know I have my Tor connection routed into my NetVM. I’ve been trying to figure out how to route that traffic out of this VM through a Socks5 Proxy. I have used Proxifier and a few other Socks5 Proxy clients but I am not sure if that is the right answer for this or if it would even work correctly.
