Where to toggle automatic updates checking? (dom0 and all qubes)

From qubes-gui-configuration:

  1. Check for dom0 updates
  2. Disable (Enable) checking for updates for all qubes.

How to make changes via terminal (or bash)? What configuration files need to be fixed?

probably the easiest way for most is via the Qubes Global Settings application.
