What’s up

Is there a place outside the forum to chat if yes which platform ? Matrix, Discord, or something else ? I’m not looking for a list of Qubes-OS chat platform but if there is one which is the main place to live chat with the community I’m interested to know it .

Thanks

Yes, the mailing list:

Upstream, Xen uses Matrix and mailing lists:

Downstream, Qubes-Kicksecure and Qubes-Whonix have their own Discourse forums:

If you are specifically asking about me, I have my own Open WebUI instance where I privately work on ambitious frontier projects alone.

There is also a matrix channel as mentioned in the documentation link provided by @FranklyFlawless.

https://doc.qubes-os.org/en/latest/introduction/support.html#chat:

Chat

If you’d like to chat, join us on

  • the #qubes channel on irc.libera.chat or

  • the #qubes:invisiblethingslab.com matrix channel.

these two should be linked/bridged, but for technical reasons currently are not.
