Where does the SD card appear?

I inserted my SD card but nothing is showing up anywhere, please tell me what to do.
My computer is a lenovo x230.

The SD card reader is usually a PCI device.
So an inserted SD card will appear in whatever VM you attached the SD card reader to in the PCI device tab.
The usual risks of doing that apply (see Qubes doc on PCI devices).
