What user will log in when using sys-gui in qubes 4.1?

If in 4.1 Dom0 just runs X, and sys-gui runs everything else, does that mean the login user will be a sys-gui user now instead of a dom0 user?

(I ask because if so, that might change the “qubes is single user because there are many ways the main login user can escalate from a dom0 user to dom0 root” argument)

To my knowledge, yes, the general direction of Qubes is towards a multi-user system through having multiple sys-gui VMs. Also see Qubes Architecture Next Steps: The GUI Domain | Qubes OS
