I’m looking at VPN providers specifically from a Qubes OS perspective, where the idea would be to route selected qubes through a dedicated VPN gateway rather than rely on a provider’s desktop app.
One service I’ve been looking at is CometVPN
For this kind of setup, what do you consider most important from the provider side? Manual WireGuard/OpenVPN configuration, DNS handling, IPv6 support, multiple endpoint options, or something else?
I’m mainly interested in features that matter when the VPN is handled by a dedicated qube and the provider’s own application is not part of the setup.
Curious what people running sys-vpn style configurations usually prioritise.
