What are the private storage and system storage on StandaloneVMs?

For StandaloneVMs what does the Private Storage vs System Storage distinction mean? Take a Windows qube, for instance. Afaik, the windows ISO file gets installed into the System Storage space. And after installation, when the user logs into the windows qube and starts using the windows qube, is he still using the System Storage space for file storage? If so, what role does Private Storage space has in this case?

It’s just two different disks that were named like this for AppVMs.
For StandaloneVMs not based on existing template they are the same. Just two separate disks.
You can install the system on either of them or partition them as you’d like.

Does this mean that if, in a standalone, private is set to 25G and system is set to 25G, the actual standalone is 50G?

Do you mean standalone based on a template or installed from ISO?

based on a template.

The system root (/) is stored on the system storage and the user home (/home) is stored on the private storage. They are using separate virtual disks. There is also a separate disk for swap.
Not sure how to answer what is “actual” standalone size.
