VMs freeze for a Couple of Minutes after Suspend/Resume - Lenovo Thinkpad L14 (gen 3)

After suspending the laptop and resuming, all my appVMs are frozen and unresponsive for a couple of minuets. If I have firefox open it is still open upon resume, but clicking tabs etc. are unresponsive. However, when I click the tabs, the name of each tab/website DOES appear on the window color-coded title bar.

If I have a terminal open in an AppVM, I cannot type, but the menu options at the top of the terminal are responsive. After a couple of minuets, all the text that I typed in the terminal shows up all at once.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was able to work around this by changing the kernel version for the AppVMs that were doing this.

With kernel 6.3.2-1 installed on Dom0 I was having issues where my appVMs froze for a couple of minuets after resuming from suspend. I was able to resolve the AppVMs being frozen for a couple of minutes by downgrading the AppVM kernel (not the sys-vms or Dom0) to 5.15.103-1. I did this in the qubes manager, by right clicking the appVM and clicking settings. On the “advanced” tab, choose the kernel version.
