Hello humans!
Context:
As soon as v4.3 was available, I’ve done a fresh install with no problem but the resolution of Grub: cannot get it properly set (1024x768!). Plus grub does’nt recognize command like ‘videoinfo’ or ‘vbeinfo’ (say they doesn’t exist).
With every other preceding version, Grub had a proper video definition on my computer.
Actions:
Checking dom0 for Grub setup, I found out that Grub modules for EFI64 aren’t availbale on FS, whereas related packages are said installed. I’ve tryed to force the reinstallation of those packages (+“Grub Install” +regenerate boot images, etc.) without any success.
Run out of idea.
Any suggestions?
Finally, reinstall Qubes was the point, using Kernel 6.x instead of 7.x.
Do you remember the exact kernel versions? Can you share your HCL? qubes-hcl-report
Kernels were 7.0.12 and 7.0.14.
