My 2nd ram slot appears to have taken a crap
Only 4 is registering
Child this cause all these programs to not start?
Yes, dom0 is using 4 GB of memory by default and if you have only 4 GB or RAM then there is no memory available to start the qubes.
I got 8 gb of ram installed, did a fresh install and same issue

Make sure you have virtualization enabled in your BIOS.

I don’t remember the name of the settings but on some motherboards there are more than one setting related to virtualization that need to be enabled. I have seen errors like that when those settings are not enabled.

Think it may be called IOMMU.
Apparently dells IOMMU is vt for direct io, which was enabled, as well as virtualization.
But trusted execution to be enabled needs the other two to be enabled also
But it’s grayed out. So maybe this is some issue with virtualization?
I defaulted the bios out but it’s still grayed out
