USB attachment of another drive freezes system 4.3

I’ve upgraded my system from 4.2.4 to 4.3

With 4.2.4 I was able to attach another drive with qubes os on it (from different computer) to specific vm, decrypt it with passcode, and withing less than a minute I would get a lot of usb attachment notifications on my screen of all separate qubes + backup images from that drive.

Now, with 4.3 if I do the same, my current system freezes as is. USB attachments of separate qubes from the other drive seems to work properly, but notifications of each attachment shows up extremely slow, like one every 2-3 minutes. All current background vm seems to work properly, like if I have vm with running music, it continues playing, I’m just not able to do anything on the screen as all USB’s being attached takes forever.
Is there any solution to this problem and to speed up usb attachments?

Could you check sudo journalctl -f in dom0 while attaching the drive to see if there’s any errors related to this?

PS: there’s a Github issue about slow USB attachments as well, but I believe it’s unrelated: Qubesd takes a really long time to query and manage USB devices with multiple USB hubs · Issue #10569 · QubesOS/qubes-issues · GitHub
