Upgrading QubesOS 4.0 to 4.1 with qubes-dist-upgrade : is it possible?

The only way I can run 4.1 is to manually build it from src files, and do a clean install on a machine?

You can also install from this ISO of the 4.1 alpha:

Here is the long requested alpha build: https://ftp.qubes-os.org/iso/Qubes-R4.1.0-alpha20201014-x86_64.iso and its signature: https://ftp.qubes-os.org/iso/Qubes-R4.1.0-alpha20201014-x86_64.iso.asc. This isn’t “release candidate”-stable yet, but most of the things should work already.
