Updating skulls - coreboot on my x230

Hello!

My version of skulls-coreboot is very outdated. What is the easiest way for me to update skulls on my machine?

I am running a Qubes 4.0 x230 laptop with skulls version 0.1.6.

I have already externally flashed my x230 with skulls.
I should be able to flash coreboot internally now, but I have difficulty running any of the skulls scripts in dom0. (flashrom and dmidecode are installed in dom0).

Also, I tried to update the kernel parameters in /etc/default/grub with a line that says GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“iomem=relaxed quiet” (like the skulls instructions state), but “cat /etc/cmdline” does NOT return the updated kernel parameter. What should I do about that issue as well?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I resolved my own issue.

I gave up trying to flash coreboot/skulls internally via qubes, so I installed debian 10 on a drive i had lying around, booted up that debian 10 drive on my x230, and then updates skulls using that debian 10 bootup.
