"Unknown error" during installation

Hello all,

I’m trying to install QubesOS 4.3.0 on a laptop (XPS 15 9550), from a USB drive (Ventoy, UEFI) and I have this error during the installation, few minutes after choosing install options and launching install : qubes hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB

OCRed error is as follow :

I’ve checked ISO before trying installation (signature and hash).

Anyone have an idea of the problem ?

Your error message seems incomplete, there should be more stuff after the last File line. Also it would be really useful if you could post the logs. Here’s the installation troubleshooting doc:

Thanks for your answer, I’ll post logs once I come back home.
About that, is it supposed to be done using the “debug” feature in order to extract them from /tmp/*.log ?

Qubes install doesn’t work with ventoy. Do a search and you’ll see numerous threads. Use dd

Experiencing this issue as well. I hope it gets resolved before 4.2 EOL.

Also, I did flash the ISO with dd.
