Unable to update fedora

Then app qube based on a debian template work fine as an update proxy but whonix is not working for some reason.
Try to set the default update proxy back to sys-whonix, restart sys-whonix and try to run these commands in the debian-12-xfce template:

curl --proxy http://127.1:8082/ https://9.9.9.9
curl --proxy http://127.1:8082/ https://debian.org

strangely, after i reverting the default update proxy back to sys-whonix and restarting the sys-whonix qube as you recommended i restarted sys-firewall and sys-net as well and the proceeded to attempt the update of fedora and debian to which both of them are now update successfully.

do you still want me to run the following commands?

No, there is no need to run these commands if updates work now.

I don’t know what was causing this issue.

no problem thanks for help just the same

I have the same problem but don’t understand how to fix it.
How do I reset the default update proxy to sys-whonix? Where, how do I find the default update proxy?
Restarted the sys-whonix qube as you recommended, also restarted sys-firewall and sys-net, I can do that.
I only have Fedora installed.

Post the errors that you have.
You can set update proxy in Qubes Global Config → Updates tab.
