"Unable to execute qubes updater icon from dom0 to [online qubes]" error/notification while updating dom0

Yesterday I was updating dom0 and after it finished I received immediately 4 (all online qubes, which were 4 sys qubes) notifications with similar text to the one in the title.

There were only 3 packets updated (I’m not behind in updates), qrexec and 2 more.

Probably is nothing, but would like to know why they appeared.

I got the same error notifications when I recently updated dom0 as well. I can’t tell whether part of the update failed, or whether the errors can just be ignored…

You can ignore, this is known issue related to restarting qrexec on update. A little refactor done in upcoming Qubes R4.2 fixes this.
