For kicks, I’m trying to install some of my old Windows OSs as standalone VMs. Win 98 give me grief when I try to install it. I think I got around the “please reboot to enable large drives”. But I think the VM inserts the CD under “A” instead of “D”. Additionally, the “private storage” (which isn’t really used in this situation if i have it straight) is mounted as D. I’ve tried launching the VM via comand line with the ISO as the --cdrom , and via Qubes Manager, selecting the ISO. Since it is a standalone, i’ve tried removing the 2 via Qubes Manager, with no success…
Is there a guide to installing these older OSs that I missed? or setting a windows VM to have a single volume?
