Most likely this issue.
You can probably solve this by adding x2apic=false to the grub item.
To do this, when grub shows up, navigate to your desired installation option ( “install with kernel latest”, e.g.). Then, press e key to edit that option. Scroll down with arrow keys, and find the line beginning with “multiboot2”, and add x2apic=false to the end of that line.
