An update seems triggered - visible in Tray - when a qube based on its respective template is accessed.

The checkbox “Enable updates for qubes without know…” seems unrelated to the issue and has no effect.

Question: how to trigger an update of all templates via GUI? :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, it helps! Some hints, though:

  1. …in the Applications Menu under “System Tools.”… should read “Qubes Tools” and potentially help many :slightly_smiling_face:
  2. “Enable updates for qubes without known available updates,” is worth considering to have the check box tick persist
  3. a “select all” options saves a few mouse clicks
