Sys-whonix lock top right of the screen

I have set up a qube to use net qube as sys-whonix and the template i based it off of is using sys-whonix as its net qube.

Why does this qube not show up as one of the active connections when i click on the combination lock icon in the top right of the screen?

What’s the name of the template of this qube?

Why did you set the template’s net qube from none to sys-whonix?

It shows the connections from sdwdate running in the qube to the sdwdate in sys-whonix.
If there is no sdwdate running in the qube then there is no connection.

Name of template is TheTest

I think i did it to download an app to the template. i just changed the templates net qube to none.

I dont know what you mean, but i see all other qubes i have running, and when i hover over them i see the sdwdate option. I just dont see the qube i want to see, its the only one.

What’s the source template that you used to create this template?
E.g. debian-12-xfce/fedora-40-xfce/whonix-wortstation-17/etc

Pretty sure Debian, although the box is blank.

There is no sdwdate in the Debian template, it’s only present in the Whonix template.
So only qubes based on Whonix Workstation template will be shown in the sdwdate-gui widget in the tray.

Wow, interesting, thanks.

Its still connected to sys-whonix though, right?

Yes.
