Creating sys-audio using the provided salt formula is convenient. However, users suffer from the endless notifications in dom0, indicating sys-audio is “Get+guivm” “GetAll” “Get+stubdom-lib” or so from every running qube.
Now the best way to deal with it is to switch on " Do not disturb" and edit the sys-audio policy to allow everything it requests. However, this is obviously not expected for an “AUDIO” vm. We must find a way to prevent it from generating so many requests.
My guess is that now fedora-34-xfce, on which by default is sys-audio based, is specially designed for sys-gui, and has hardcoded (written in its rootfs, making them persistent) arguments for qubes daemons.
