On the old forum, the survey banner would stay gone after being dismissed. On the new forum, it re-appears after refreshing the page.
Weird. I’m not being able to reproduce this. Can you try refreshing the cache? (ctrl+R) on the forum tab.

I’m on Chrome. Thought it might be because I’m blocking third-party cookies. Tried enabling them for this domain. No change.
It’s ok. I’ll just use my ad blocker to block #banner.

Haha. That’s exactly what I was thinking. But perhaps before you should try the classic of logging out and in again.
In the future don’t forget that you’re not seeing banners. I might mess up some spelling and you won’t notice that plastered all over the forum because of this .

Still no dice. 
To be honest, I find huge banners like this somewhat ugly and spammy. I would not be sad to see us stop using them altogether.
However, in the event you’d ever like me to vet the language for a new one, simply send the text to me via direct message or email, and I’ll be happy to do so.
