Strange random disconnect in sys-net

Has anyone crossed paths with this random disconnect in a sys-net?

deauthenticating from <BSSID redacted> by local choice (Reason: 3=DEAUTH_LEAVING)

Several threads online:

All of these do not apply.

First, the connection works out of the bat.
Second, it is not a dhcp error but a networkmanager error.

I’ve increased the RAM from 400mb to 500mb of the sys-net.
I have a USB ethernet dongle attacked to sys-net along with the WiFi.
This seems to have fixed for now (at least for the last 2h I got no random disconnects).

How about trying 1 GB, just to be sure?

Yeah that is a good idea. I just had one occurrence happening again and I am running Qubes with 64GB of RAM in my machine :slight_smile:

This was fixed with adding the following configuration to /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf:

[connection]
wifi.powersave=2

Which disables power saving features of the wifi hardware.
