storageInstallationError: device is active (4.3)

I can’t install qubes os 4.3-rc2. Everytime i try to finish to setting it and click on “start installation”, i receive this error.
storageInstallationError: device is active
My Nvme disk, which is the one that i trying to install qubes os, have windows 11 installed.

Did you select your nvme in the installation destination?
Try to wipe your nvme first before booting in the Qubes OS installer.

I have encountered the same error and had to use Gparted to delete partitions on the drive first ,to replace the windows 11 default installation with Qubes OS ,
It did show error lines that I should’ve reported

Yes. The problem is: I cannot wipe my NVMe. I have only one pendrive and only one PC, which is the one that i do the flash. So there’s no way to wipe my nvme. I can’t wipe with the windows (obviously) and can’t with the qubes os installer. And this error just happens with qubes 4.3.

I understand now. I will have to buy another pendrive to do so. Hope this gets fixed. Its a error with 4.3 only

You can boot the Qubes OS installer, switch to the TTY with console using Ctrl+Alt+F2, delete all partitions on your disk using e.g. fdisk (you may need to unmount the disk partitions before doing it if they were mounted automatically) and rescan the disk in the Qubes OS installer. Or just reboot the Qubes OS installer.
