It won’t update I don’t know how to get terminal
The short cut on keyboard doesn’t work.

I bought a Starlabs laptop but having problems
QubesMenu->Settings(Cog on LHS)->Other->Xfce Terminal

Right click on the Desktop → Applications → Terminal Emulator (it is towards the bottom of the list)
Since you’re on a Star Labs machine, the keyboard shortcuts might feel a bit different at first. If the default Ctrl+Alt+T isn’t working, it’s usually because Qubes (and Xfce) doesn’t always have that mapped by default. Once you get into the terminal using unman’s path above, you can actually set your own shortcuts under Settings Manager > Keyboard > Application Shortcuts. It makes life a lot easier!
