Remarks

  • R4.0.4 Installation Failed: (black screen) Likely issue #6704 listed in qubes-issues database.
  • R4.1.0-rc4 Installed properly.
  • Internet connections via wired Ethernet and WiFi work properly, though it took an embarrassing amount of time to realize the Ethernet connection required the use of sys-usb on my machine. Select via Device Manager applet in the toolbar.
  • Hardware related functions I personally tested: power-on, power-off, suspend, display, keyboard, touch-pad, sound, 3 of 3 USB ports, micro SD card port read and write operations, HDMI audio and video. Also verified ability to create, modify, delete, update and backup individual qubes.
