Good tip - I updated my list to make it simpler.
Last question: There are 2 different split browser options, ‘Split Browser’ and ‘Split Browser (TB Security Level: Safest)’. What is the difference between these options? Are they both relevant when using Tor and Mullvad? Thanks again.
It’s this:
SECURITY SETTINGS | Tor Project | Tor Browser Manual (applies to Mullvad Browser too):
Safest
- This level only allows website features required for static sites and basic services. These changes affect images, media, and scripts.
- Javascript is disabled by default on all sites; some fonts, icons, math symbols, and images are disabled; audio and video (HTML5 media) are click-to-play.

How we can customize bookmark window? Default size, colors and especially font and its size?
Thanks.
Check out the sb_dmenu() configuration in /etc/split-browser/ on the persistent side. Despite the name dmenu, it’s actually calling rofi at the moment (as a temporary-ish workaround for a glitch). rofi can be themed, take a look at its manpage.

Thanks! I prefer that Monokai rofi theme.
